Awakening the Goddess: Free Guided Meditation and Gentle Kriya Activation Practice
There is a powerful current alive within each of us—the sacred feminine energy known as Shakti. She is the pulse of life, the spark of creation, and the embodiment of intuition, wisdom, strength, and beauty. When we connect with Shakti and her many forms, we awaken not only to our personal power but also to the deep, timeless rhythm of the divine feminine that runs through all of nature.
In my offering, Awakening the Goddess: Guided Meditation and Gentle Kriya Activation, we journey inward first through meditation and visualization, meeting the goddesses Shakti, Durga, Kali, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. From this grounded and devotional space, we rise into movement—gentle yet powerful Kundalini-inspired practices that open the channels of energy and invite the goddess essence to flow through every cell of our being.
Meeting the Goddesses in Meditation
Each goddess carries her own unique vibration and medicine. Through guided meditation, we connect with their qualities and awaken them within ourselves.
Shakti – Life Force & Creative Energy
The primordial power that fuels the cosmos. Shakti reminds us that energy is never lost, only transformed. In meditation, we feel her as vitality rising through the body, reminding us that we are living, breathing manifestations of creation itself.
Journal Prompt: Where do I feel the spark of life most alive in me right now, and how can I honor it more fully?
Durga – Courage & Protection
The warrior goddess who rides her lion with grace and strength. Durga teaches us how to stand firmly in our truth, to wield courage with compassion, and to hold healthy boundaries. Meditating on Durga helps us feel protected, supported, and powerful from the inside out.
Journal Prompt: Where in my life am I being called to step forward with more courage, and how can I invite Durga’s strength into that space?
Kali – Transformation & Liberation
The fierce goddess of death and rebirth. Kali’s energy can feel intense, but it is rooted in love. She clears away illusions, attachments, and fears so that we can step fully into who we are meant to be. Meditating on Kali is like opening the door to freedom and transformation.
Journal Prompt: What am I ready to release right now so I can step more fully into my authentic self?
Lakshmi – Abundance & Harmony
The goddess of prosperity, beauty, and grace. Lakshmi blesses us with both material and spiritual abundance, helping us remember that we are always supported and held in the flow of life. In meditation, we connect to her golden light, cultivating gratitude and inviting in more harmony.
Journal Prompt: What forms of abundance already flow through my life, and how can I create more space for harmony to grow?
Saraswati – Wisdom & Creative Expression
The goddess of knowledge, intuition, and artistry. Saraswati flows like a river, teaching us that wisdom and creativity are meant to move through us. Meditating on Saraswati awakens clarity, inspiration, and the ability to express our authentic voice.
Journal Prompt: What wisdom or creative expression is ready to flow through me, and how can I give it form in my life?
Through these five goddess energies, we remember that we carry within us the full spectrum of feminine power—creation, courage, transformation, abundance, and wisdom.
Rising into Kriya: Gentle Kundalini-Inspired Practices
Once we have attuned to the goddess within, we shift into gentle movement. Kundalini-inspired kriyas are sequences of breath, posture, mudra, and mantra that awaken dormant energy and help it rise.
In this practice, the movements are simple, accessible, and deeply effective. Each kriya is chosen to open the energetic channels, clear blocks, and guide the awakened goddess energy up through the body. The result is a sense of both grounding and expansion: rooted in the earth, yet lifted toward the divine.
One of the practices we incorporate is the Tantric Har Mantra. The sound Har (pronounced like “hud”) is a bija mantra of creativity, prosperity, and manifestation. In Tantric practice, Har is chanted rhythmically while gently pumping the navel point, activating the seat of power and abundance in the body. This mantra calls upon the energy of Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity, while also awakening Shakti’s creative current. When practiced with devotion, it strengthens the magnetic field, clears blocks around receiving, and draws in opportunities aligned with our soul’s purpose.
Chanting Har in rhythm becomes a bridge between meditation and action—it roots us in presence while simultaneously opening the flow of energy upward, empowering our intentions with both clarity and vitality.
Why Practice Awakening the Goddess?
This journey is more than just a class—it is a ritual. A chance to sit with yourself, honor the divine feminine, and embody her qualities in your everyday life. When we take the time to awaken these energies within us, we find ourselves living with:
More vitality and creativity (Shakti)
Greater courage and resilience (Durga)
Freedom from old patterns (Kali)
A sense of abundance and harmony (Lakshmi)
Deeper wisdom and clearer self-expression (Saraswati)
Awakening the goddess is not about becoming something new—it’s about remembering what has always been within you.
Integration: Living as the Goddess
After meditation and kriya, I always invite reflection. Journaling, sitting in silence, or simply noticing how your energy feels are ways to integrate this work. Over time, you begin to see how these goddess qualities show up in your daily life—through the way you set boundaries, express your creativity, or open yourself to abundance.
The goddess is not outside of you—she is already alive in your breath, your heart, your intuition, your movement. When you awaken her, you awaken yourself.
Awakening the Goddess: Guided Meditation and Gentle Kriya Activation is an offering to remember the sacred feminine within. May it nourish your body, expand your spirit, and connect you with the eternal dance of Shakti.
