Same Mic, New Chapter: The Evolution of Meditations & Conversations with Mandee Peterson

There are some things you create because you have a perfectly mapped-out vision.

And then there are the things you create because you desperately wish they existed.

Meditations & Conversations with Mandee Peterson, the Moon Dance Wellness Co podcast, was the second kind.

Years ago, I was searching for more free guided meditations and honest conversations about what wellness, spirituality and living actually look like in real life.

Not another app I had to subscribe to. Not another perfectly polished wellness space that somehow made being human feel like something we were supposed to transcend.

I wanted practices I could actually use.

I wanted conversations that felt real.

I wanted somewhere we could talk about meditation and motherhood. Yoga and relationships. Ayurveda and everyday life. Kundalini and creativity. Astrology and the seasons of our lives. Spirituality and business. Healing and grief.

I wanted a space where all of it could belong.

So I started making it.

And somehow, here we are.

106 podcast episodes later.

From Free Guided Meditations to a Holistic Wellness Podcast

When I look back at the podcast now, I can see myself changing through it.

My interests expanded.

My studies deepened.

My teaching evolved.

My life changed.

And the podcast changed with me.

Over the years, this podcast has become a place where so many pieces of my work through Moon Dance Wellness Co have been allowed to sit at the same table:

Yoga.

Ayurveda.

Kundalini.

Tantra.

Western and Vedic astrology.

Meditation and breathwork.

Ritual.

Motherhood.

Relationships.

Business.

Food.

Creativity.

Healing.

Spiritual practice.

And the ordinary, complicated, occasionally hilarious reality of trying to actually live everything we study.

Because I have never been particularly interested in spirituality that only works when the room is quiet, the candle is lit, your nervous system is regulated and nobody is asking you for a snack.

I want to know what happens when the practice leaves the mat.

How does this wisdom change the way we actually live?

How does Ayurveda change the way we nourish ourselves?

How does Yoga change the way we meet discomfort?

How does Kundalini Yoga change the way we understand and work with our energy?

How can Western and Vedic astrology help us become curious about the seasons and cycles we're moving through?

How does meditation meet us when life is loud?

How do these teachings show up in motherhood, partnership, work, creativity, grief, joy, transition and the thousand tiny moments that make up a human life?

That curiosity has become the heartbeat of this podcast.

Honoring 106 Episodes While Making Space for Something New

I don't want to throw away what this podcast has been.

I want to honor it.

Those 106 episodes are little time capsules.

They hold versions of me.

Things I was learning.

Questions I was asking.

Meditations I needed.

Practices I was exploring.

Conversations I was hungry for.

Seasons I was moving through.

Teachers and people who inspired me.

Ideas that eventually grew into classes, courses, offerings and entire branches of Moon Dance Wellness Co.

There is so much history here.

And I love that.

But I also know when something is asking for more room.

So this yoga, meditation and holistic wellness podcast is entering a new era.

Not necessarily shinier.

Not necessarily more serious.

Actually, maybe the opposite.

I want it to feel more alive.

More conversational.

More curious.

More expansive.

More willing to wander down an interesting rabbit hole simply because there might be something worth discovering at the bottom.

Welcome to the Next Era of the Show: Meditations & Conversations

The name itself tells you where we're going.

Some days, we'll meditate.

Some days, we'll talk about the Moon.

Some days, we'll tumble headfirst into Ayurveda, Yoga philosophy, Kundalini, Tantra, spirituality or astrology.

Some days, I might sit down with someone fascinating and ask them a million questions.

And some days, I might turn on the microphone because something happened in my life and I cannot stop thinking about it.

I want to talk about motherhood.

Marriage.

Friendship.

Business.

Creativity.

Food.

Books.

Spirituality.

Bodies.

Rituals.

Seasons.

Identity.

The things we're learning.

The things we're unlearning.

The things nobody quite has an answer for.

There will still be free guided meditations because providing accessible practices was one of the reasons this podcast began in the first place.

There will still be deep dives into the teachings I love.

There will still be Ayurveda, Yoga, Kundalini, Tantra and astrology woven throughout.

But there will also be more room for the beautifully complicated experience of being human.

Because holistic wellness isn't a separate compartment of our lives.

It is our lives.

It is what happens at the dinner table.

In the car.

During an argument.

While building something you care about.

While raising children.

While grieving.

While falling in love.

While changing your mind.

While making bread.

While questioning everything.

While beginning again.

A Podcast About Spirituality That Still Makes Room for Real Life

I think that's what I have always wanted this podcast to be.

A place where the sacred and ordinary don't have to be separated.

Where we can explore a Kundalini practice and then talk about motherhood.

Where Ayurveda can exist alongside conversations about relationships, creativity and food.

Where astrology isn't about handing our power over to the stars, but becoming curious about cycles, patterns and timing.

Where meditation isn't about escaping your life, but learning how to be more present inside of it.

Where spirituality gets to have dirt under its fingernails.

Because the practices I love most aren't asking us to become something other than human.

They're helping us become more intimate with the experience of being one.

106 Episodes Later, I'm Still Curious

Maybe that's the thing I'm most proud of.

After more than one hundred episodes, I don't feel like I've run out of things to say.

I feel like I have more questions.

More things I want to study.

More people I want to talk to.

More practices I want to share.

More connections I want to explore between Yoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini, Tantra, meditation, astrology and everyday life.

More conversations about what all of this actually looks like when we bring it down from the clouds and into our homes, relationships, bodies and everyday lives.

And that feels exciting.

This isn't a goodbye to the podcast that came before.

It's a thank you.

Thank you to every version of me who sat down behind a microphone and pressed record.

Thank you to every guest who shared their story.

Thank you to every person who meditated with me, learned with me, laughed with me, questioned with me or listened while folding laundry, driving to work, walking the dog or lying awake at night.

Thank you for giving these meditations and conversations somewhere to land.

106 episodes brought us here.

And now we get to see what happens next.

The microphone is still on.

The questions are getting better.

The conversation is getting bigger.

And I am so excited to keep going.

Welcome to the next chapter of this amazing podcast: Meditations & Conversations with Mandee Peterson, a Moon Dance Wellness Co podcast exploring Yoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini, meditation, astrology, holistic wellness, spirituality and the beautifully messy experience of real life.

Come as you are.

Some days we'll meditate.

Some days we'll dive deep.

Some days we'll simply have a really good conversation.

Take what you need. Leave a little more curious than you came. 🌙
