Ancient Teachings for a Life Fully Lived
The School of Sacred Wisdom is a virtual school devoted to the study, practice, and embodiment of Yoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini, Tantra, astrology, meditation, and the sacred wisdom traditions that teach us how to live with greater awareness.
This is more than a yoga teacher training.
It is an invitation to root into your truth, rise into your power, rewild what has kept you disconnected from yourself, and radiate the wisdom you are here to share.
Whether you feel called to teach, already guide others and long for deeper study, or simply want to understand the wisdom beneath the practices you love, you are welcome here.
You do not need a previous yoga certification to begin. You do not need to know exactly where this path will lead you. You only need curiosity, openness, and a willingness to meet yourself more deeply.
What Is the School of Sacred Wisdom?
The School of Sacred Wisdom is an online yoga school and living library of ancient teachings created to make deep, meaningful study accessible within the realities of modern life.
Here, Yoga is explored as far more than movement. It is a way of living, relating, healing, remembering, and returning to the wisdom already held within you.
Through the lenses of Yoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini, Tantra, astrology, meditation, pranayama, philosophy, anatomy, ritual, and embodied practice, you will begin to understand yourself and the world around you with greater clarity.
You will be invited to study these teachings intellectually, experience them within your body, and discover how they can be woven into your relationships, work, personal practice, leadership, teaching, and everyday life.
This school honors both structure and intuition. There are meaningful educational standards, practices, reflections, and opportunities to demonstrate your understanding—but there is also space to move slowly, ask questions, follow your curiosity, and allow the teachings to unfold in their own time.
This is not about rushing toward a certificate or becoming someone new.
It is about remembering who you are beneath the expectations, conditioning, fear, and noise.
Root • Rise • Rewild • Radiate
The heart of the School of Sacred Wisdom.
Root
Root into your body, your breath, your values, and your truth. Build a strong foundation through personal practice, self-study, ancient philosophy, and a deeper relationship with the rhythms of nature.
Rise
Rise into a more confident and embodied expression of yourself. Strengthen your voice, expand your knowledge, and learn to meet life with greater presence, courage, and discernment.
Rewild
Rewild the conditioning, expectations, fears, and inherited beliefs that have separated you from your intuition. Question what you have been taught, reclaim your natural rhythms, and create space for a more honest way of living.
Radiate
Radiate what you have learned through the way you live, love, lead, serve, and teach. Whether your wisdom is shared in a yoga class, with your family, through your work, or simply through the way you move through the world, your embodiment becomes part of the offering.
Who Is the School For?
The School of Sacred Wisdom is for the seeker, the student, the teacher, the space holder, and the woman who knows there is something deeper calling her.
It may be for you if:
You want to become a yoga teacher and are looking for a meaningful, accredited path of study.
You already teach yoga, movement, meditation, or wellness and want to deepen your knowledge, confidence, and embodiment.
You love Yoga but crave an understanding that reaches beyond asana.
You feel drawn to Ayurveda, Kundalini, Tantra, astrology, meditation, philosophy, subtle anatomy, or sacred ritual.
You want to develop a consistent personal practice that supports your real life.
You are moving through a season of transformation and long to feel more grounded, connected, and supported.
You want to better understand your body, mind, energy, patterns, cycles, and inner world.
You are a mother, caregiver, business owner, student, professional, or busy human who needs learning to fit into life without becoming another source of pressure.
You want to reconnect with your intuition and rewild the beliefs that have kept you small, fearful, disconnected, or unsure of yourself.
You want to study in a community that values compassion, curiosity, integrity, inclusion, personal responsibility, and authentic connection.
You do not need a 200-hour yoga teacher training to enter Level 1.
If you want to teach, there is a structured pathway for you. If you already teach, the school offers space to deepen and expand. If you never intend to lead a yoga class and are here solely for your own growth, your intention is equally valuable.
You do not have to turn your healing into a career for it to matter.
How Does the School Work?
The School of Sacred Wisdom was intentionally designed to support meaningful education without requiring you to step away from the life you are already living.
Most of the program is offered on demand, allowing you to move through lectures, practices, readings, reflections, and assignments at your own pace. New teachings and resources will continue to be added to the student portal as the school grows.
Each month also includes opportunities to gather livestreamed for experiences such as:
Educational lectures and workshops
Yoga, meditation, and embodiment practices
Office hours and question-and-answer sessions
Case studies and group discussions
Teaching labs and practice opportunities
Book conversations
Guest-teacher sessions
Community connection and reflection
Live sessions are recorded and added to the student portal, so you can return to them later if you cannot attend in real time.
There is no expectation that you rearrange your entire life around the school. You can study early in the morning, during a quiet afternoon, after your children are asleep, between college courses, or whenever space naturally becomes available.
This is a go-at-your-own-pace experience. You are encouraged to create a sustainable rhythm that supports your learning rather than rushing through the material simply to finish.
What Will You Study?
Level 1 offers a multidimensional exploration of the teachings and practices that form the foundation of embodied, holistic Yoga.
Areas of study may include:
Yoga history, philosophy, and ethical foundations
The Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Upanishads
Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra
Kundalini Yoga, kriya, mantra, meditation, and pranayama
Tantra, Bhakti, ritual, devotion, tarot and sacred embodiment
Ayurveda, elemental wisdom, daily rhythms, and seasonal living
Western and Vedic astrology
Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and accessible movement
Subtle anatomy, including the chakras, nadis, koshas, and vayus
Intelligent sequencing, cueing, pacing, and class creation
Trauma-aware teaching, consent, boundaries, and ethics
Holding space, developing your voice, and teaching authentically
The practical and professional foundations of sharing your work
Learning Through Study, Practice, and Embodiment
Sacred wisdom cannot be fully understood through intellectual study alone. It must be experienced.
Throughout Level 1, you will study the teachings, practice them within your own body, reflect on what you notice, observe other teachers, and explore how to share what you have learned.
Your learning journey includes:
On-demand lectures and educational materials
Guided yoga, meditation, and embodiment practices
Required reading and personal reflection
40 personal practices
15 class observations
Seven practice-teaching experiences
A final teaching practicum
A written assessment
A long-form reflection on your learning and transformation
These requirements are not meant to create pressure or perfectionism. They exist to help you move from collecting information into developing understanding, confidence, discernment, and embodiment.
You will be supported in learning how to think critically, practice consistently, teach responsibly, and remain a lifelong student.
An Accredited Path of Study
The School of Sacred Wisdom is an accredited yoga school through the American Yoga Council.
Students who successfully complete the Level 1 curriculum and graduation requirements will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to register their training with the American Yoga Council.
Accreditation reflects the educational depth, structure, learning standards, accountability, and ethical foundations held within the program. It provides a meaningful pathway for students who feel called to teach while allowing the school to remain expansive and welcoming to those studying for personal growth.
A certificate can acknowledge what you have completed.
Embodiment reveals what you have truly learned.
Community and Ongoing Connection
Although the School of Sacred Wisdom is virtual, you are not expected to walk through it alone.
Students receive access to a private community space where they can ask questions, share reflections, celebrate milestones, discuss the teachings, and connect with others moving through the journey.
The live sessions create opportunities to be witnessed and supported—not only as a student, but as a whole person.
After graduation, students can remain connected to the school through ongoing live offerings and the evolving community. Completion does not have to mean disconnection. The school is intended to become a place you can continue returning to as your practice, teaching, and life evolve.
Designed for Real Life
There is no single “right” pace for transformation.
Some students may move through the material consistently each week. Others may study in seasons—moving more quickly when life allows and slowing down when family, health, work, or personal needs require their attention.
Your life is not an interruption to the training.
Your life is where the teachings become real.
The School of Sacred Wisdom was created for busy mothers, business owners, caregivers, students, teachers, professionals, and seekers who want depth without sacrificing their well-being to achieve it.
You are encouraged to take the time you need, revisit teachings, repeat practices, and allow your understanding to mature naturally.
Additional Information
Do I Need Previous Yoga Experience?
A previous yoga certification is not required for Level 1. Experience with yoga or meditation may be helpful, but you do not need to arrive as an expert. You are invited to begin exactly where you are.
Do I Have to Become a Yoga Teacher?
No. Some students join because they feel called to teach. Others are already teachers seeking deeper study. Many enter because they want to strengthen their personal practice and better understand the sacred traditions that have changed their lives.
All of these paths belong here.
What If I Cannot Attend the Live Sessions?
Live sessions are recorded and added to the student portal. You can watch them when your schedule allows and revisit them as often as needed.
How Quickly Do I Need to Complete the Program?
The school is designed to be completed at your own pace. Rather than racing toward the finish line, you are encouraged to establish a realistic rhythm that supports genuine learning and embodiment.
Is the School Entirely Online?
Yes. Lectures, practices, resources, community connection, and live sessions are offered virtually, allowing you to participate from wherever you live.
Will There Be Guest Teachers?
Yes. Guest teachers may be invited to share specialized knowledge and different perspectives in areas such as anatomy, physiology, movement, philosophy, energetics, and other complementary fields.
What Materials Will I Need?
Students will need reliable internet access, space to engage with the practices, a journal or digital system for reflection, and the required reading materials. Suggested yoga props and additional resources will be shared throughout the program.
Is Financial Support Available?
Students may choose between a paid-in-full investment and a monthly payment plan. If finances are creating a barrier, please reach out to Mandee directly to discuss available scholarship opportunities. I never want fear or financial circumstances to keep someone from exploring a path they genuinely feel called to.
Come As You Are
You do not need to be more flexible, more spiritual, more knowledgeable, more healed, or more certain before you begin.
You are allowed to arrive with questions.
You are allowed to be in transition.
You are allowed to want something more without knowing exactly what that “more” will become.
The School of Sacred Wisdom is a place to learn, practice, remember, and return—to your body, your truth, your intuition, your power, and your relationship with the sacred.
Come to teach.
Come to deepen.
Come to heal.
Come to remember.
Come because something within you is ready to root, rise, rewild, and radiate.
You are welcome here.
